Kevin VanDam (Bass Fishing GOAT) joins Bass University Live after securing $100k for championship big fish in the Major League Fishing Heavy Hitters tournament on Kissimmee Chain in Flordida . KVD ends his storied career, that none would argue is statistically the greatest of anyone ever, on a high note and we break it all down on the show. VanDam fished with BASS for over 30 years. He made the move to MLF after the 2018 Elite Series and retired from active professional tournament fishing after the 2023 Bass Pro Tour season. KVD's nearly 40 year career featured almost every possible achievement imaginable in the tournament bass fishing world.
